Our Branch Manager in this location is soon to retire and we are now in the process of recruiting for her successor.
We are looking for a high-energy, customer focused, results oriented insurance professional with a solid track record of performance, to provide leadership for our committed multi-generational team in Ocho Rios.
The successful candidate must possess a thorough knowledge of Insurance and Underwriting practices and Procedures as well as a working knowledge of Governmental insurance Regulations and reporting requirements.
Minimum Education and Experience Required for the Role include:
- Insurance Salesman license from a recognized insurance college, with an emphasis on motor and property insurance required
- Undergraduate degree
- “Fit and Proper” as per Financial Services Commission or other regulatory body
- 5 years progressive experience within the Insurance Industry, spanning Underwriting and/or Claims, and management of staff
- A professional designation recognized by the insurance industry in Jamaica (CIP, AIIC, CII, etc.) would be an asset
